Founded in 2007 by Ford and Barb Kyes, ActionCOACH Tampa Bay draws on their extensive healthcare experience where they diagnosed symptoms and treated the root cause. Ford transitioning from being CEO of St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg and Barb pivoting from leadership in non-profits, civic, and professional organizations, their passion was for bringing these world class strategies, tools and accountability practices to their local business community. Their daughter, Juliet Kyes, joined them from the start and has grown into not only a leader for the company but also a leader in the community. Juliet joined the firm less than a month before her parents and co-founders opened the firm’s doors in 2007. She has grown over the years into a well-connected and respected business leader with a drive for excellence and making an impact in her local community. Her clients would describe her as easy to talk to, positive, organized, systematic, caring and a creative thinker. She has a unique ability to take complex concepts and make it easy to understand. She has given her time to numerous organizations over the years including serving as a Board Member for St Pete Chamber and Chair of the Ambassadors – even achieving the honor of Member of the Year. She has also served as a leader in BNI Tampa for the region and her St. Pete based chapter passing over one million dollars in closed business in the last seven years and being recognized as Member of the Year and Inviter of the Year. She consistently implements the tools and concepts taught to clients in the firm she manages – and the team has accomplished a growth of over 200% in the last 5 years and now ranks #1 in the US and #3 in the world in their international franchise spanning over 80 countries.

Juliet and her wife Jennifer both share a passion for travel and entrepreneurship. Jennifer is a travel advisor that focuses on creating amazing memories and luxury experiences for business owners who now have the freedom to travel thanks to coaching. They have a 15-year-old yorkie, Sasha, that still has puppy-like energy spirits. Juliet recently accomplished a long-time goal of taking 12 trips in 12 months, some trips spanned several weeks and included bucket list locations like Alaska, Hawaii, and the Mediterranean. Juliet is a fan of sparkling water and leans towards basic flavors like lime and lemon. Her coffee order is an oat or almond milk iced latte with no sugar. Her favorite quote is “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” by hockey hall of famer, Wayne Gretzky.

One of Juliet’s favorite client stories was a client that came to her after investing over hundred thousand with a consulting company that came in for 5 weeks and left him just as fast as they came with a mountain of debt from interest and loads of confusion without the guidance to implement what they delivered. Within one year this same client was able to get himself out of the field by hiring a reliable team, build new sales relationships, implement new marketing campaigns, reduce AR by over 50% and double their revenue. This client has just recently hired a salesperson to replace himself as the only salesperson and has the vision to continue to grow by double digits each year while enjoying his renewed sense of freedom.

Scott has been a recognized leader in the Tampa Bay Community as an entrepreneur, educator, speaker and serves as a Partner at ActionCOACH Tampa Bay.  Ranked Globally as a Top 25 Certified Business Coach among 1,500 franchise offices worldwide, Scott is passionate about his mission in helping small businesses create sustainable & scalable businesses in the Tampa Bay Area that are dedicated to giving back and living a life of purpose.

Scott graduated from USF Tampa in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree focused on Industrial and Organizational Psychology, starting his first company during his senior year in college.  Over the last two decades Scott has founded/ co-founded multiple purpose driven start-ups in both trades and technology, growing into successful businesses that continue to serve both at the national level and inside the Tampa Bay community today.  Scott has also served as Keynote Speaker at National Conferences and a frequent speaker to such notable mentions as USF College of Business, Mc Donald’s Corporation and the Department of Defense- Tampa.

Scott now leverages his passion and expertise in assisting CEOs and business owners who want to take their business to the next level in achieving their dreams in business and in their personal life with the vision that “when small businesses thrive, so does the local community..”

Scott lives in Clearwater FL with his wife and four kids, including 7-year-old twin girls. Scott enjoys coaching on and off the field, as he is often seen coaching his son and daughter’s sports teams. Scott also serves as a volunteer leader in Traillife USA, a committed member and Children’s Ministry Volunteer at his church at Countryside Christian Church and serves as a Leadership Chair for Christian Business Men Connection (CBMC) Tampa Bay. Scott will raise his hand for a round of golf – especially for a great cause – and enjoys any excuse to get time in the outdoors and taking time to travel with his family.

One of Scott’s favorite client’s success stories was a family-based business that came into coaching with steady cash flow and record months in sales yet was on the brink of failure and within only a couple of months was scared of losing everything, their house, their assets and their business.  They were defeated, broken and emotionally unavailable to themselves and others.  Thankfully, this second-generation family run lawn maintenance company stuck it out in coaching and went from losing money in their business to only a few years later building out multiple brands inside their industry and becoming a trail blazer for other landscaping companies to follow, network and refer together.  Today they have successfully transitioned the business to their son who continues to expand their reach among the affluent community and into luxury service offerings.

Tony serves in leadership positions in his BNI Tampa chapter in St Pete and as a member of the St Pete Chamber Ambassador Council. He enjoys speaking to small and large audiences and is regularly requested to speak on topics of sales, time management, and communication. 

Tony and his wife Jeannie have been married for 38 years, have raised two adult sons and are now the proud Papa and Gigi to 3 grandchildren all under the age of 3. One of Tony’s favorite client stories involved a young entrepreneur who was successful but struggled with focus, prioritizing all the opportunities coming her way, and hiring team she could depend on. She was hesitant at first because she was in the middle of move, had just recently experienced turnover of a key employee and was already paying for another coaching program – that really turned out to be more networking than accountability and business owner level strategies. Within the first year, she found a super star team member, she was able to be out of her business for over a month when she got married, went on honeymoon and moved into a new house as her business continued to grow hitting personal bests and over 50% growth in revenue. She is now a raving fan that continues to advocate to other business owners the value of coaching and has referred several clients to her coach.

Darryl Feldman

Darryl is energetic and a super connector and he brings those talents to each and every interaction. He is masterful at finding areas that are succeeding in the business and digging deeper to find more ways to utilize those strengths to the fullest. His passion for learning and expanding his knowledge base keeps him ahead of the pack and in high demand as a presenter and training instructor for networks, associations, and social groups around the area. Darryl’s ability to see the big picture while keeping it simple and holding his clients accountable to timelines and micro-commitments means they are taking consistent, proactive action for big, compounded results over time.

Darryl actively contributes to the Tampa Bay business owner community as a member of Associated Builders and Contractors Gulf Coast Chapter, BNI Chapter in Clearwater, AMPLIFY Clearwater Chamber, St. Pete Bar Association, EDGE District Business Association, and Leadership St Pete Alumni Association board member (he’s a proud 20GR18 graduate). He volunteers at SPCA of Tampa Bay and his daughter’s school, Canterbury School in St Pete. Darryl is certified as a YESS! program facilitator which is a non-profit foundation that provides free entrepreneurial training and start-up funds to kids ages 12-18 years old so they can learn the successful path to business ownership.

Darryl is married to his wife, Sara, has a daughter, Violet, and has a home filled with furry friends including the newest addition, a Boston Terrier named Moe. Outside of work, Darryl enjoys watching his hometown New York Mets, painting, crosswords, sci-fi, and exploring our sunny city with his family. One of Darryl’s favorite client success stories is a husband-and-wife commercial cleaning company that was in coaching for years with another coach and never understood their profitability or numbers so cash flow was always tight. They complained that they were constantly having to transfer funds and use savings to make payroll. After coaching for just a couple of months, the owners were excited to report that they finally knew why the business had challenges with cash flow and now had a clear path to profit and an action plan that included addressing key areas of the business and their life. The small yet critical changes Darryl was able to make for them in a short amount of time brought back the excitement and confidence they originally had for the business – and to think they were ready to close the business out of frustration just a few months before starting with Darryl.

Megan is a ray of sunshine in our office that keeps all the moving pieces together as a talented executive assistant. Megan listens, takes notes, asks for help when needed and consistently looks for ways to make herself more efficient at managing all the details. Megan is an entrepreneur at heart with an eBay business she is continuing to build and grow on nights and weekends. She loves being at our events and with our clients because she is a sponge for learning about business and enjoys seeing the impact we are making in their lives. Megan has a love for animals and a soft spot for wiener dogs also known as dachshund. Megan currently has three cats and is looking to adopt a dachshund in the very near future! When Megan isn’t at the garage sale hunting for great buys for her eBay business, she is spending time with her mom, babysitting, hanging out with her friends and enjoying local events.
