National Nutrition Montha nutrition appreciation and education movementwas created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is observed yearly during the month of March. The goal of the campaign is to direct attention to the value of making healthy choices when it comes to selecting what we consume. It is also aimed to expand awareness across communities nationwide of what constitutes a wholesome meal.

National Nutrition Month plays an important role in focusing attention on creating an appropriate diet in both schools and the workplace.
